Camera-Ready Instructions

Uploading final manuscripts for accepted papers is essentially the same as uploading your review manuscript. Do NOT register a new paper!

  1. Prepare your final manuscript according to the IEEE template. You can refer to IEEE published templates for Word and LaTeX.
  2. Authors should add a copyright notice to their papers before creating PDFs. If necessary, contact Samuel Okegbile at samuel.okegbile@concordia.ca for the appropriate copyright notice.
    • For papers in which all authors are employed by the US government, the copyright notice is: U.S. Government work not protected by U.S. copyright
    • For papers in which all authors are employed by a Crown government (UK, Canada, and Australia), the copyright notice is: 978-1-6654-9380-2/23/$31.00 ©2023 Crown
    • For papers in which all authors are employed by the European Union, the copyright notice is: 978-1-6654-9380-2/23/$31.00 ©2023 European Union
    • For all other papers, the copyright notice is: 978-1-6654-9380-2/23/$31.00 ©2023 IEEE
  3. Proofread your source document thoroughly to confirm that it will require no revision before submission.

  4. You MUST register before uploading your final paper. Papers will be included in the proceedings only if at least one author has registered and paid the registration fee by 25 May 2023. One author registration will cover the publication expenses of two (2) accepted papers. Authors presenting more than 2 papers must pay an additional full registration for the 3rd paper. In the case no registration has been received and correctly processed to cover the paper publication, the conference organizers will contact the authors before the paper is removed from the proceedings.

    NO PAPER WILL BE PUBLISHED WITHOUT THE AUTHOR’S COMPLETED REGISTRATION AND PAYMENT.

  5. Generate an IEEE Xplore-compatible manuscript using PDF Xpress

    All final manuscripts must be generated using the PDF Xpress tool.

    To generate the IEEE Xplore compatible PDF file of your paper, follow these steps:

    1. Create your IEEE PDF eXpress account: https://ieee-pdf-express.org
    2. Conference ID: 57238X
    3. The first time you access the system, please follow the link to new user. Please note that in order to access the service, you need to allow the use of cookies from the PDF eXpress web site. Once you have registered as a new user:
      • Upload the source file (containing your paper) for conversion.
      • Receive by e-mail the IEEE Xplore-compatible PDF of your paper.
  6. Upload your Xplore compatible PDF manuscript to EDAS
    • In EDAS, go to My Papers and click on the link under "Upload paper".
    • All authors of accepted papers must transfer copyright to IEEE by utilizing the electronic IEEE Copyright Form (eCF) (see IEEE Copyright Policy). IEEE will not permit publication of conference papers unless copyright transfer has been completed.
    • During upload, EDAS checks whether your paper meets the conference formatting requirements. It checks that all fonts are embedded.
    • Specify the presenter and complete the presenter’s biography form

The deadline for camera-ready paper submission is May 25, 2023.
