Registration fees and benefits

Full registration (Early bird): CAD $630 (Due date 15 Jun, 2023)

Full registration (Late): CAD $700 (Due date 7 Jul, 2023)

Student registration (Early bird): CAD $350 (Due date 15 Jun, 2023)

Student registration (Late): CAD $400 (Due date 7 Jul, 2023)

We provide financial assistance to student participants, who may receive a per diem of up to CAD $80 for each day of their participation. Due to limited budget, a higher priority is given to students travelling farther distances or demonstrating greater needs of financial support. In order for a student to receive this assistance, the student need to fill the Assistance Request Form and email it to Abbas Yekanlou (abbas.yekanlou@concordia.ca) before the symposium together with a proof of student status (e.g, a photo of student card). The student must sign in at the registration desk outside the conference room every morning and afternoon (as evidence of participation). The student will then receive a check after the symposium.

Each accepted paper must be accompanied by a full registration in order for it to be included in the workshop proceeding.

Cancellation Policy

FOR AUTHORS:

• To be published in the BSC 2023 Conference Proceedings and to be eligible for publication in IEEE Xplore, at least one author of an accepted paper is required to register for the conference at the FULL rate.
• One FULL REGISTRATION allows the author to upload up to two (2) papers on which he/she is an author or co-author. Please use the registration confirmation code to upload the final paper(s). Sharing of the paper upload code is strictly prohibited. The deadline for author registration is 15 May 2023.
• The paper must be presented by an author of that paper at the conference unless the TPC Chair grants permission in advance of the event for a substitute presenter, who is qualified both to present and answer questions.
• Non-refundable registration fees must be paid prior to uploading the final IEEE formatted, publication-ready version of the paper.

FOR ALL CONFERENCE ATTENDEES:

All refund/cancellation requests must be provided in writing and emailed to abbas.yekanlou@concordia.ca by 15 June 2023. An administrative fee of CA$100 will be charged for each refund.
