Arrival by Air

The closest airport is Pierre-Elliott Trudeau Airport, located in the West part of Montreal, 167 km (approximately 1h43 by car) from the conference venue (OTL Gouverneur Hotel in Sherbrooke).

Arrival by Train

The closest VIA Rail train station is in Drummondville, 78 km (approximately 52 minutes by car) from the conference venue. Montreal central station is also an option, and is 142 km away from the venue (1h41 by car).

Bridging the Gap

The two easiest ways to bridge the gap between Montreal and Sherbrooke are the Aeroshuttle or renting a car at the airport.

Aeroshuttle

Renting a car provides the ultimate degree of freedom to set your own schedule and play tourist in the beautiful Easternn townships. There are obviously plenty of options at the Trudeau airport. You can also find car rental agencies not too far from the Drummondville train station (Enterprise – 3.4 km, Budget 2.9 km).

Limocar

The third option is to take first the 747 Aéroport P.-E.-Trudeau / Centre-ville shuttle to go the Montreal city center. The 747 shuttle service runs 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, between Montréal-Trudeau airport and Berri-UQAM métro station. Travel times range from 45 to 75 minutes, depending on traffic conditions. Then take the Limocar to Sherbrooke. With its 12 express shuttles a day in both directions, Limocar makes travel between Montreal and Sherbrooke easy and quick (between 1h50 and 2h20), depending on the number of stops along the way. WiFi access allows you to work during transit. The Limocar drops you off at the Sherbrooke bus station, located downtown. The venue is then a short taxi or Uber ride away.
